May 02, 2019  •  7 Comments

Today, cave-diver Rick Stanton was awarded a George Medal at Buckingham Palace for playing a key role in the rescue of 12 boys and their coach who were lost in a flooded cave in Thailand last year. Rick and fellow cave diver/explorer, John Volanthen, had been the first to discover the boys and had played a major part in their rescue. Well done Rick (and John - who received his medal recently).
