Earlier today, Rick Stanton was awarded a George Medal at Buckingham Palace for his part in the rescue of 12 children and their coach who were lost in a flooded cave in Thailand last year. Rick and fellow cave diver/explorer, John Volanthen, had been the first to discover the boys and had played a major part in their rescue. Well done Rick (and John - who received his George Medal recently).
